THANK GOD. I do not want that piece of shit RPatz anywhere near Hunger Games. Who do you think should play Finnick? Hint: He’s supposed to be “tall, muscular, and athletic, with tan skin, bronze-colored hair, and incredible sea green eyes.” My picks: Ryan Gosling (The Notebook, Blue Valentine), Garrett Hedlund (Tron, Country Strong), or Zac Efron (High School Musical, The Lucky One)
For all my Downton Abbey fans!! This parody by Jimmy Fallon is too funny. Enjoy!
In case you were too busy to catch some of these stellar season finales, here is a short synopsis for each. SPOILERS ahead! Were you sad about the Grey’s death? How do you feel about magic? Will Division be for the better or worse? Which song was your favorite from Glee’s graduation?
It’s officially been a week since the finales of How I Met Your Mother, Hawaii 5-0, Gossip Girl, Hart of Dixie, and Smash. While some of these shows left me on the edge of my seat wanting more, there’s probably one I could live without forever. If you haven’t seen the finales of these episodes yet,STOP READING. If you have, relive the shocking fallouts and hit the comments to tell me how you felt about your show’s finale…
**Shoutout to my DAIR and ZADE fans!**
Only one Monday night left and we say goodbye to the most controversial, but brilliant doctor on TV. After 8 seasons, a turnover of supporting doctors, Emmys, Golden Globes, SAG awards, People’s Choice awards, and a Peabody… House will bid us adieu with one retrospective episode before the series finale. Do you think it’s about time or would you have kept watching this show for two/three more seasons? Here is what we’ll miss and not miss about the House…
Can we all just take a minute to thank the casting director ofThe Vampire Diaries. The real mystery is how everyone on this show manages to get more and more good looking even though 75% of them are all “dead.” (And that just bumped up to 80% tonight!) After a season full of Original fam-bam drama and Team Stelena/Team Delena ‘ship wars, our favorite show ended in true TVD fashion—lots of twists, lots of tears, and lots of general WTF(?!) moments. If you haven’t seen last Thursday’s amazingly written/directed/acted episode, look away now… otherwise dive in to the juicy goodness that will have to feed our appetites until next season.
Congrats Nikita! Bye bye Ringer and The Secret Circle…
Whitney?! Really?!
As promised, here is an updated list of what TV shows live to see another season… and the ones that have gone or are headed to that big television channel in the sky (or if they’re lucky, syndication.) Do you think any of these bubble shows should be saved? Or perhaps maybe there are some shows you actually want off the air? Hit me up in the comments and stay posted to my Twitter feed for additional renewal/cancellation news.
Right around this time in late April/early May is an exciting time to be covering TV shows. The good stuff is watching all of the season finales, seeing how each show’s season has escalated to its one final point. The bad news comes when you realize some of those shows won’t be returning at all next season to finish off that cliffhanger ending. In a world with such ADD, its hard for a TV show to make it past the first season, so lets take a moment to think about these “bubble” shows before dismissing them. We wouldn’t want another My So-Called Life, Freaks & Geeks, or Firefly in our midst, would we? In addition, since were jubilated in congratulating Fringe on its greenlight for a 5th and final season, I invite you to consider two shows that also deserve renewal— at the very least to finish the good stories they started.
